What’s new: step by step, we are changing the world for the better!

Today we carried out major technical work on the website and in the mobile app, so the connection may sometimes have been lost, and the projects may have worked unstably. Among other things, we changed the server location, so for some users the website may appear unavailable if their provider still remembers the old IP address. If you notice this, disconnect your current connection and try switching to mobile internet or, conversely, to Wi-Fi. You can also connect through a VPN so that the connection goes around the current route.

For now, the news is as follows:

We are improving and developing a fundamentally new infrastructure for projects in defense of wild nature. Work in this direction is going very well.
In the near future, we are finally launching the first project in defense of the predators of the Russian Taiga. For several months, we could not get to it. We will work purposefully to achieve legislative changes in the protection of those animals that almost no one wants to protect. In total, we plan to take on three areas: wolves, bears, and Amur tigers.
We are preparing a major update to the Concept of territories of complete ecological peace. I think we need to try to work with society as widely as possible and spread a proper understanding of exactly how the world’s protected-area system should change. Unfortunately, we still cannot conduct full-scale expeditionary research and fieldwork — it is very expensive. But we have enough strength to move toward this gradually.
We have prepared a strategy for changing the mechanisms of our Public Initiatives. Everything is changing very quickly; many things that worked before are no longer relevant now. It is extremely important for society to change its approaches and adapt in order to continue the struggle for Life.

Meanwhile, I am working on my new book in defense of wild nature, already conducting local fieldwork and small expeditions, and collecting data for the further determination of the boundaries of the future protected-area system. Everything is moving forward.
