Hunting and the 'bear invasion': Scientific research on disrupting natural mechanisms

I have completed my investigation into the issue of spatial disruptions in bear population distribution. I was able to study a great deal. I primarily focused on the problem in Sweden, where extensive field research has been conducted. Additionally, the bears in Sweden are part of our boreal taiga, meaning they share the same natural zone and similar habitats. Therefore, this experience is largely applicable to our country as well.

Today, I published a comprehensive report on my observations for the main audience. Together with my colleagues, we are thoroughly examining the issue of the 'bear invasion.' I am increasingly understanding the mechanism by which this can be provoked, even deliberately! However, I tend to believe that no one is truly accountable, and there is a complete lack of basic knowledge. Those making 'responsible decisions' do not understand what they are doing at all.

The reality is that primitive linear shootings of bears can actually create conditions for a 'bear invasion,' meaning their mass approach to humans, increased conflicts, and so on. Moreover, it can lead to extremely serious problems within the wild.

For you, in our headquarters, I want to publish the main scientific works that I mentioned in my brief investigative material.

"Hunting promotes spatial reorganization and sexually selected infanticide," 2017.https://www.nature.com/articles/srep45222

"Human shields mediate sexual conflict in a top predator," 2016.https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4936045/

"Male reproductive strategy explains spatiotemporal segregation in brown bears," 2013.https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3757318/

"Behavioral responses of brown bears to roads and hunting-related disturbances," 2024. I did not mention this work in the material, but I consider it very important. It helps connect the other studies into a logical system.https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11176727/

"Evolutionary and proximate mechanisms of bear occurrence near human settlements: A review and implications for management," 2014. This was when we experienced the first major 'bear invasion' amid discussions of a trophy hunting development plan worth hundreds of billions of rubles.https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-2907.2012.00223.x

You can explore and read these if additional information is needed. I am gradually investigating the problem further. We will connect everything together to base our struggle on a scientific position and understanding of the complexity of biological systems.
