We need conservation science

It is very bad that we still cannot conduct full-scale research expeditions. This worries me. I am worried by a world where science is worth nothing, and only what someone is willing to pay for gets studied.

Do you know why this worries me? Because when there is little clean water, clean air, and living fragments of wild nature left, this scarcity will be instantly monopolized in order to sell all of it to the rich for enormous amounts of money. That is precisely why today we are enemies of those who control capital. And they will never agree to finance the defense of nature.

Capital is defined by scarcity, which is most often created artificially. Why protect nature today if tomorrow everything will become scarce and be able to generate colossal amounts of money? People will pay anything for a breath of clean air and a sip of clean water. And the rich will become even richer.

We need research. Urgently. We need conservation science in order to preserve what still remains: the right to Life must not become a scarcity.
