Our struggle for Life is part of evolutionary history.
Any evolutionary process requires time. And our own evolution in the struggle for Life also requires time. No one has ever thought on the scale of humanity about protecting nature, and there has never been any global movement against the destruction of the Biosphere. At the end of the last century — the 1970s–2000s — the first observations were only beginning, when scientists noticed a sharp collapse of ecological systems, while the monster of capitalism was brazenly appropriating protected lands for the sake of monopolization and increased profit. After that, over time, the first reports and scientific works by scientists, field observations, and statistics appeared. But there were no automated databases, no computer processing; this slowed down and fragmented science.
Then came the emergence of the internet, the development of a technological leap, and a new wave of nature’s absorption. Methods of machine data processing, their integration, and the first meta-analyses by scientists around the world appeared in parallel. The evidence of nature’s destruction on the scale of the entire planet became undeniable! But all of this remained at the level of the scientific community.
Have you seen scientific papers? It is a success if, over years of publication, the most important studies managed to gather from one thousand to ten thousand views. Not readings, but views. How many people remain in the end who actually studied them in detail and expanded their horizons of knowledge is unknown. But this is not even fractions of a percent of society; it is dust, nothing, an error margin in the general indifference.
And now we are witnessing the fourth technological revolution, which is already delivering the final blow to Earth’s Biosphere. All scientists say unequivocally that billions of people will feel the consequences, as they say, “on their own skin.” So when this happens, when everyone understands the price of their silence and their ignoring of environmental problems, the entire global system of governance will turn toward searching for a way out of the planetary crisis that has emerged.
What we are doing together today is the foundation of the future struggle. At some point — and this will happen soon enough — our struggle will be spoken about all over the world, and the very ideology of the struggle for Life will become the foundation of change. Global change!
I do not say many things, but here we have good strategic windows for the next steps forward. There are already two of these “windows of opportunity” now, and it is only a matter of time before we can take the reins into our own hands! And for now, let us build; we will definitely change this world.
Everything we are doing together is right. The struggle for Life is the only true Mission, the foundation of any evolutionary history.
