Over 15 million people learned about the problem of bear extermination
Almost the entire month has been dedicated to addressing the issue of bears being hunted without limits or restrictions, including during their winter hibernation when they are extremely vulnerable along with their cubs. A significant amount of material and analyses have been prepared, numerous scientific studies reviewed, and a large social media campaign conducted. There is hardly any time left for other, equally important tasks. It's simply unclear where to start in this ocean of madness.
On just one page, in a single social network, we managed to inform at least 15,000,000 people about the problem of bear extermination. And this was achieved without viral short videos, which are generally useless as people just scroll past them in their feeds! These are independent, comprehensive publications that require reading, understanding, and analysis. Such work is exponentially more challenging.
On the "Green Page," instructions for submitting statements to the Government will be closed tomorrow, October 21. We will then consider further actions. We need to summarize the overall results, see which contacts within the authorities are responsive, and determine if anything else can be done. I have already reached out to all our allies within the system, but few are willing to address sensitive issues in the current socio-political climate.
